The Importance of Having six months monetary savings is paramount to make yourself free from Society and achieve peace of mind. Once you “go to ground” as we discussed in prior chapters, it should be very easy to have six months living expenses nailed down. Calculate the main things you need to survive. A small amount of money for a bare boned living quarter, a tiny budget for clothing, and a similar amount for food. Once that is established, put the money into a bank savings account and do not touch it for the unless it is absolutely necessary. Needling little to live is instrumental to allowing your creative juices to flow.
If you do not have a penny of savings, your mind will start to worry, and equanimity (evenness of mind) will be disturbed. Before considering any entertainment dollars, make certain you have the “piggy bank” ready, in case you run into a shortage of ideas.
